Zein E. Obagi Jr. has more than 14 years of experience in litigating complex employment and business matters. He sustains an impeccable reputation and record for award-winning representation and has achieved dozens of successful jury and non-jury verdicts in state and federal court, equating to millions of dollars for his clients throughout California.
After working for some of the most prestigious law firms in Los Angeles, he founded Obagi Law Group, P.C in 2012 to further serve as an fierce and loyal advocate for those who have been legally wronged by their employers. Obagi has stood strong with employees to right the wrongs of racial, gender and other types of workplace discrimination, wrongful and unlawful termination.
A compassionate attorney and leader, Obagi makes fighting for social justice for those that have been underserved and mistreated by their employees personal. He recognizes that hardworking employees take pride in their work, and when an employer unjustly takes away a person’s right to work, he understands the devastating financial and emotional effects this can have one’s life.

Obagi takes great pride in both the advancement of his community and giving back through charitable endeavors. He currently represents District Four as an elected Council Member for the City of Redondo Beach. After only two years in office, he has already delivered millions of dollars in improvements for Redondo’s first-ever neighborhood dog run, a mini neighborhood skate park, pickleball improvements, and more shade in the park for sun protection.
He has also served as the Co-Chair of programs with the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Small Firm Section. He completed two years on a pair of LACBA committees—the President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession and the Judicial Appointments Committee, which responds to requests by the Governor to evaluate individuals under consideration for appointment to the Superior Court of California. His pro bono work has included participating in a Legal Aid Alternative Break Project for the hurricane Katrina-ravaged Gulf Region.
